• Undergraduate Research Opportunities Blog Post includes an expansive list of resources at the University of Utah.

• The Francis Family Foundation offers funding opportunities for research. Each Fall, undergraduate students in their second semester of UROP or recently completed 2 semesters of UROP are invited to apply for a $1200 scholarship to support a third semester of research with the same faculty mentor during the following Spring semester. (Seniors graduating in the spring semester are also eligible to apply. Please note, priority will be given to students who have completed 2 semesters of UROP). 

• Oak Ridge National Lab address materials, neutron sciences, energy, high-performance computing, systems biology, and national security. All internships come with a stipend. Explore the opportunities and apply today for a high-impact internship experience!
• National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduates supports intensive research by undergraduate students across the United States and the world. 
• National Institute of Standards and Technology, Department of Commerce provides stipends for summer undergraduate research fellowships. 
• The Council on Undergraduate Research and Pathways to Science host databases where students can search for internship and research experiences.
